Kawasaki has quietly introduced the 2026 Versys 1100 in India, priced at Rs 13,89,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). This represents a modest increase of just Rs 10,000 compared to the 2025 model, factoring in the latest
GST adjustments. Beyond the new model-year label, however, the motorcycle remains largely unchanged from the version launched earlier this year.
Visually, the Versys 1100 continues to sport the Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Grey and Metallic Diablo Black finishes, maintaining the sharp, adventure-tourer look that has become its signature. Its tall, adjustable windscreen, negative LCD instrument panel, and commanding stance ensure it stands out on the road.

Kawasaki has carried forward the same 1,100cc inline-four engine. This powerhouse delivers 135 hp and 112Nm of torque, offering smooth, high-revving performance suitable for long-distance touring or spirited weekend rides. The bike’s chassis remains unchanged as well, featuring a twin-tube aluminium frame, 43mm adjustable inverted telescopic front forks, and a rear monoshock. Braking duties are handled by twin 310mm discs upfront with dual-channel ABS.

On the features front, the 2026 Versys 1100 retains all the technology that made its predecessor appealing. Riders continue to get three-mode traction control, two selectable riding modes, cruise control, and an optional quickshifter. Comfort and practicality are also intact, with a large 21-litre fuel tank, a reasonably accessible 820 mm seat height, and a kerb weight of 257 kg. Kawasaki’s approach with the 2026 Versys 1100 seems to focus on continuity rather than radical change.
