Hero MotoCorp has just taken another big step forward on the global stage by launching its operations in the United Kingdom, which marks its presence in 51 countries worldwide. This expansion comes shortly after Hero entered Italy and Spain, that shows the company’s growing ambition to strengthen its name across internationally.
To kick off its UK journey, Hero has introduced an all-new motorcycle which is - the Hero Hunk 440, a muscular and stylish bike aimed at riders who want performance with everyday practicality. The launch has sparked curiosity among Indian bike lovers too, with one big question - Will the Hunk 440 come to India?
For now, the Hero Hunk 440 will be available only in the UK, with MotoGB Ltd handling its sales and services.
Based in Lancashire, MotoGB will distribute Hero’s bikes through over 25 authorised dealerships, with plans to expand to 35 locations by 2026. These centres will offer full customer support, maintenance and technical assistance, which will ensure a smooth experience for customers.

The Hero Hunk 440 falls under the A2 performance motorcycle category in Europe, which is designed for both new and experienced riders. The bike has a 440cc engine that produces 27 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 36 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. This motorbike is powerful enough for highway cruising yet daily city rides.
The Hunk 440 is also equipped with modern features like dual-channel ABS, 320mm front and 240mm rear disc brakes, KYB USD front forks, LED lighting and an all-digital TFT display with navigation support. It rides on 150/60 ZR17 radial tyres, which offers superb grip and stability.
This Hero bike is priced at £3,499 which is around Rs 3.6 lakh, plus on-road charges. The bike is available in three colours - Twilight Blue, Phantom Black and Titanium Grey. Each motorcycle also comes with a two-year warranty.
Sanjay Bhan, Executive Vice President of Hero MotoCorp, called it a “defining milestone” in the company’s journey. He added that the Hunk 440 reflects Hero’s deep understanding of UK riders which combines style, performance and accessibility in one package.
So, What About India? While Hero hasn’t confirmed anything yet on Hunk 440’s India launch, the design and specifications are quite similar to the recently launched Hero Mavrick 440 in India. This makes it possible that Indian riders might see a version of the Hunk 440 on local roads in the coming future with minor updates.
