Tata Motors has updated the Nexon lineup with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), expanding its active safety suite for the internal combustion engine (ICE) models. Until now, ADAS was exclusive
to the EV version. The Nexon already holds the distinction of being the first made-in-India car to earn a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP, and the only SUV to secure dual 5-star ratings from both GNCAP and BNCAP. The new update aims to further strengthen its position as a segment benchmark for safety while adding a layer of driver assistance technologies to reduce collision risks and improve on-road awareness.

Tata Nexon SUV: Key ADAS Features Now Available
The Nexon’s ADAS suite includes a Forward Collision Warning (FCW) system, Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Lane Centering System (LCS), High Beam Assist (HBA), and Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR). These features are designed to alert the driver and, when needed, intervene to avoid or reduce the impact of potential collisions. By bringing ADAS to its ICE portfolio, Tata Motors is aligning the Nexon more closely with global safety trends.
Tata Nexon SUV: Red #DARK Edition Introduced
Alongside the ADAS rollout, Tata Motors has launched the Nexon Red #DARK Edition, starting at Rs 12.44 lakh (ex-showroom). Available across petrol, diesel, and CNG powertrains, the special edition is finished in Atlas Black with red accents, piano black elements, and a distinctive #DARK mascot. The cabin gets Granite Black upholstery with red contrast stitching, ventillated leatherette front seats, red dashboard inserts, and a unique infotainment UI exclusive to this edition.
India’s Top-Selling Car In September 2025
The Nexon’s ADAS introduction coincides with a strong sales milestone. The SUV was India’s best-selling car in September 2025, reflecting its wide market acceptance. Tata Motors continues to offer the Nexon in multiple powertrain options: petrol, diesel, CNG, and EV, reinforcing its appeal across customer segments.

Tata Nexon SUV: Pricing And Availability
The new ADAS-equipped Nexon is available starting from Rs 13.53 lakh for the Fearless+PS DCA ADAS variant. The Red #DARK Edition pricing begins at Rs 12.44 lakh for the base-spec variant and goes up all the way to Rs 14.15 lakh. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures. Bookings are open at authorised Tata dealerships across the country.
