Toyota has released official teasers showing a sharp and modern exterior design. The Urban Cruiser EV features a closed-off front grille, sleek LED headlamps, and a full-width light bar, highlighting its electric identity. The silhouette suggests a compact SUV stance with a strong shoulder line and upright proportions. At the rear, connected LED taillamps and a sculpted tailgate are visible.
Toyota Urban Cruiser EV: Expected Cabin And Tech
While Toyota has not revealed the interior yet, the Urban Cruiser EV is expected to feature a modern cabin layout. Likely highlights include a large touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, as well as connected car technology. Toyota is also expected to offer features such as wireless smartphone connectivity, automatic climate control, and multiple drive modes.
Toyota Urban Cruiser EV: Battery And Range
The Urban Cruiser EV is expected to be offered with two battery pack options: a 49 kWh unit and a 61 kWh unit. The peak range may go up to around 450 km on a singe charge with the latter option. You can also anticipate a FWD (front-wheel-drive) setup.

The Urban Cruiser EV will likely come with multiple airbags, electronic stability control, traction control, hill-hold assist, and ISOFIX mounts as standard. Depending on variant positioning, advanced driver assistance systems may also be introduced. However, the confirmation for this will come at launch.

The Urban Cruiser EV will compete with compact electric SUVs currently available in India. It is expected to be priced starting at approximately Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom), while the topmost variant's price may hover around Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom).
