The GST 2.0 tax reform has significantly slashed the Goods and Services Tax (GST) on two-wheelers up to 350cc, from the earlier 28% to just 18% now. This new change in the tax slabs is effective since
September 22, 2025. As a result, manufacturers have already started passing on these benefits to buyers. Royal Enfield is among the first few brands to adjust prices for its entire range of motorcycles falling under the 350cc category. The Bullet 350 has witnessed price cuts ranging between approximately Rs 14,000 to Rs 18,000, depending on which variant it is. For buyers, this translates into lower monthly payments and less cash to shell out at the dealership but remember that these amounts are ex-showroom so actual road prices will depend on state taxes and RTO fees.

What GST 2.0 Changed For Bikes
The basic change is simple: bikes up to 350cc move from the 28% GST slab to an 18% one. Bigger bikes go into a new 40% slab meant for high-end models. This tweak comes under the government’s larger GST cleanup drive and kicked in late September 2025. The hope is that it will make common two-wheelers cheaper and boost sales during the festive time. Notably, other Royal Enfield models such as the Hunter 350 and Classic 350 have also become more affordable post the latest GST reforms.

What Buyers Should Keep In Mind
Although these savings are really significant, but final on-road costs depend on your state, dealer levies and optional accessories. Also note manufacturer and dealer offers may stack with the GST pass-on for short-term discounts. Conversely, bikes above 350cc now attract higher GST and have risen in price — so compare models on both specs and total cost of ownership before deciding.
