Triumph Street Triple 765 RX: Engine and Hardware
The heart of the Triumph Street Triple 765 RX is the same 765cc inline three-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that has made the Street Triple range popular among performance enthusiasts worldwide. The motor produces 130hp and 80Nm, and is paired with a six-speed gearbox and a bi-directional quickshifter. What's worth noting is that the the engine is derived from Triumph’s Moto2 racing programme. Triumph has also equipped the motorcycle with multiple riding modes, switchable traction control and cornering ABS.
For suspension, the track-focused Street Triple 765 RX uses a fully adjustable 41mm Öhlins NIX30 upside-down front fork, which is different from the standard model. However, it continues with the Öhlins STX40 monoshock at the rear. Stopping power comes from twin 310mm floating front discs with Brembo Stylema four-piston monobloc callipers, and a 220mm rear disc. The bike comes fitted with Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V3 tyres.
