The introductory prices for the Nissan Gravite have now come to an end. The MPV, which went on sale in India earlier this year with a starting price of Rs 5.65 lakh (ex-showroom), now starts at Rs 5.73 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. Depending on the variant selected, Nissan has revised the prices across the range by up to Rs 18,400. If you are planning to buy the Nissan Gravite, here's a closer look at the price increase on each model.
Nissan Gravite MPV Prices Hiked In India
The most recent price hike affects petrol and CNG variants. The N-Connecta petrol MT variant has seen the maximum price of Rs 18,400, and is now priced at Rs 7.38 lakh. Even the Gravite N-Connecta CNG MT variant has seen a similar price hike. The Tekna and Tekna Launch Edition trims in both petrol and CNG have
also become more expensive by Rs 17,000.
Nissan has not spared AMT-equipped variants. The N-Connecta EZ Shift, Tekna EZ Shift, and Tekna Launch Edition EZ Shift variants have seen a uniform increase of Rs 15,000, and are now priced at Rs 7.95 lakh, Rs 8.64 lakh and Rs 9.09 lakh, respectively.
The lower-spec models have also become dearer. The Acenta petrol MT and Acenta CNG MT both have seen a hike of Rs 9,400. Moreover, the entry-level Visia petrol MT and Visia CNG MT now fetch Rs 8,400 more over their previous prices. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures.
What Does The Gravite Offer?
The Gravite MPV from the house of Nissan is one of the most affordable seven-seater in the country. It plays a key role in Nissan's India growth strategy, and competes against the Renault Triber, which is also its platform sibling. The Nissan MPV serves as an alternative to a range of models in the market, including the Tata Punch, Nissan Magnite.

Similar to the Renault Triber, the Nissan MPV uses a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder petrol mill to produce a peak power output of 70hp and 96Nm. The motor can be used with either a 5-speed manual or an AMT. The fuel efficiency is claimed to be 19.3km/l for the manual variant and 19.6km/l for the automatic version. A factory-approved CNG option is also available.
