The Harley-Davidson lineup in India has recently received a fresh dose of new motorcycles to keep both fans and customers happy. While the majority of the new launches include high-end cruisers like the CVO

Street Glide, the brand has not forgotten about the fans of its more affordable X440 range. Along with the bigger bikes, Harley-Davidson has also announced it's new X440 T, which offers a fresh take on the X440 cruiser. Here's a quick look at what the exhaust note of the new X440 T sounds like in a real-world situation.

Belonging to the X440 range of cruisers, the X440 T also gets the same 440cc, single-cylinder engine as the standard X440. The motor produces 27 hp at 6,000 rpm and 38 Nm of torque. As we can hear in the video, the engine produces a bass-heavy exhaust note coming out of the upswept can. In terms of design, the highlight of the X440 T is the redesigned rear subframe and tail section that gives it a distinct appearance. Other add-ons include bar-end mirrors, a new exhaust unit with a heat shield and end cap and vinyl graphics.

Coming to the more important upgrades over the standard X440, the X440 T now offers ride-by-wire with switchable traction control and switchable ABS for the rear. It also gets two new riding modes that are called Road and Rain modes. The 3.5-inch TFT display in the X440 T offers a host of information, including a range display, gear indicator, side stand alert, low fuel indicator, neutral position lamp and other alerts.

Co-developed by Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson, the new X440 T cruiser has been launched at a price tag of Rs 2.79 lakh ex-showroom. This makes it the flagship model in the X440 range that has a starting price of Rs 2.34 lakh ex-showroom. Overall, the Harley-Davidson 440 lineup now consists of X440 Vivid, X440 S and the new X440 T.
