Bajaj Auto has updated its popular Pulsar N160 with a new variant that pairs gold USD front forks with a single-piece seat, adding both visual drama and everyday comfort to the 160cc streetfighter. Launched from Pune on December 5, the new Pulsar N160 variant is priced at about Rs 1.24 lakh (ex-showroom) and is now available at Bajaj dealerships across India. According to the brand, the idea is simple, which basically involves keeping the sharp, aggressive character of the N series intact, but tuning the package better for family use and longer commutes without diluting its sporty appeal.

Bajaj Pulsar N160: Gold USD Forks For Sharper Dynamics
The biggest change on this variant is the addition of gold-coloured upside-down
(USD) forks. Beyond just looking premium, USD forks are known to offer better rigidity and steering precision, especially under hard braking or quick direction changes. On a bike like the Pulsar N160, that translates into more confidence in corners and a more planted feel at urban and highway speeds. Bajaj says the new setup also enhances the bike’s “commanding road presence,” and visually it does give the front end a more muscular, big-bike stance.
Bajaj Pulsar N160: Single-Piece Seat For Everyday Comfort
The Pulsar N160 originally arrived with a split-seat layout, which pleased sporty riders but left a section of family buyers wanting a more practical setup. Bajaj’s own research found that many N160 customers were using the bike with pillions regularly and preferred a single, longer seat for easier movement and added comfort.
This new variant addresses that directly: the single-piece seat makes hopping on and off simpler for pillions, improves long-ride comfort, and better suits riders who use the bike for daily commuting with family.
Bajaj Pulsar N160: Colours, Price And Availability
The updated Pulsar N160 variant is offered in four colours: Pearl Metallic White, Racing Red, Polar Sky Blue, and Black. At Rs 1.24 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), it sits as a premium-looking yet accessible option in the 160cc sporty-commuter space. The variant is on sale across Bajaj Auto dealerships pan-India.

The gold USD forks bring the flair and handling, while the single seat brings the usability. All this makes the new Pulsar N160 variant a balanced upgrade for style-conscious daily riders.
