The Tata Punch has been one of India’s most popular small SUVs, especially among first-time car buyers who want a reliable, safe and affordable vehicle. With the arrival of the 2026 Tata Punch facelift, many buyers are curious about the base variant, which is called the Punch Smart. This variant is priced at Rs 5.60 lakh (ex-showroom) and it is the most affordable way to enter the Punch lineup.

Both the engines are paired with a 5-speed manual
gearbox and offer City and Eco drive modes.
