Ather Energy has announced that it will increase prices of its scooters from January 1, 2026 and the price hike will be up to Rs 3,000, depending on the model. For people planning to buy an electric scooter,
this update makes December 2025 an important month to buy the vehicle.
According to Ather Energy, the price hike is mainly due to rising global costs. Prices of raw materials, electronic components and foreign exchange rates have been at the increasing side for several months. Since electric scooters depend heavily on batteries and advanced electronics, even small cost increases can impact overall pricing. and to manage these rising expenses and continue offering quality products and service, Ather has decided to revise prices slightly across its range.

Now in its third year, December has become Ather’s way of supporting customers during year-end purchases by offering strong value, reliable software updates and dependable after-sales service.
Ather’s product range includes the 450 series and the Rizta, each designed for different types of users.
The Ather 450 series is focused on performance and technology, as these scooters come with smart features like multi-mode traction control and MagicTwist™, which allows riders to slow down using throttle input instead of brakes. The dashboard supports Google Maps navigation, WhatsApp notifications and call and music control.
