The new colours are likely to interest enthusiasts searching for Honda CB650R specs and Honda CB650R price in India, especially since the motorcycle has reportedly been discontinued in the country. If Honda decides to reintroduce the CB650R in the Indian market, these new hue options could be part of the package. The updated model is priced at RM47,999 (around Rs 11.20 lakh) in Malaysia.

The 2026 model year Honda bikes can now be had
in Candy Energy Orange and Matte Jeans Blue Metallic colours in Malaysia alongside the existing Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic shades. Both new colour schemes feature a contrasting gold-finished upside-down front fork. They add to the motorcycle's commanding road presence. The Candy Energy Orange finish looks bright and sporty, and is a more eye-catching option. In contrast, the Matte Jeans Blue Metallic has a subtle and more sophisticated feel. It is perfect for riders who don't want flashy skin on their 2W.
Mechanically Unchanged
Besides the cosmetic upgrade, the 2026 Honda CB650R remains unchanged, which means you continue to find the familiar 649cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four-cylinder engine looking after power and performance duties. It develops 93.8bhp and 64Nm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and continues to feature Honda's E-Clutch system.
Honda has focused solely on emphasised on enhancing the visual appeal of the CB650R as part of the most recent update. The new shades expand the existing colour options of the bike and make it more attractive to enthusiasts. That said, the CB650R is currently not on sale in India.
