Bajaj Auto is all set to give its popular Pulsar motorcycle lineup a major boost. The company has confirmed that several new Pulsar variants will be launched in the next two to three months, making it an exciting time for motorcycle lovers and enthusiasts, especially beginners who are just starting to explore the world of bikes.
The announcement was made during Bajaj Auto’s Q2 FY26 financial call, where the company revealed that demand for motorcycles above 125cc has grown significantly. This rise is mainly due to stronger festive-season sales and increasing preference among buyers for more powerful, stylish, and feature-rich motorcycles. Pulsar models above 150cc, in particular, recorded excellent performance during the festive period.
Bajaj
says the upcoming variants will “further strengthen” the Pulsar lineup. The company wants to take advantage of the increasing demand in the premium-commuter and sport-commuter segments, which are the categories where Pulsar has always been a strong player. With new models, Bajaj aims to attract young riders looking for sporty design, strong performance, and affordable pricing.
What We Know So Far
While Bajaj has not revealed detailed specifications, prices or engine options, the new models are expected to offer sportier styling, target the 125cc to 250cc range, where Pulsar is most popular and add more features to stay competitive in the Indian bike market. More details are expected closer to the launch.
GST Changes and How They Affect Pricing
One major highlight from Bajaj’s update was the impact of the recent GST revision - motorcycles below 350cc now get a GST reduction, making them cheaper and motorcycles above 350cc have seen taxes rise from 31% to 40%. However, instead of increasing prices immediately, Bajaj has absorbed the extra tax cost for models like - KTM 390 series, Triumph 400 range, Bajaj Dominar and Pulsar NS400. This move helps the company stay competitive and ensures customers don’t face sudden price shocks.
Future Plans With KTM and Triumph
Bajaj also mentioned it is working with its partner brands, KTM and Triumph, to redesign parts of their motorcycle lineups so more models can fit within the sub-350cc GST benefit bracket. While no launch timeline has been shared, these updates could make many premium bikes more affordable in the future.

Why This Matters for New Riders
For beginners or new motorcycle shoppers, this is good news as more Pulsar variants means more choices across different budgets, prices for many models remain stable despite GST hikes and the upcoming bikes are likely to offer better technology and performance without compromising on value.
With fresh launches around the corner, the next few months are set to be exciting for India’s motorcycle market and the Pulsar is clearly ready to take center stage once again.
