Royal Enfield has started 2026 on a strong note, as the brand reported 1,04,322 motorcycles sold in January, which is a 14% increase over 91,132 units in the same month last year. The brand has also crossed
1 million sales in the current financial year in just 10 months.
Royal Enfield operates in a niche that blends heritage design with modern usability. Consistently crossing six-figure monthly sales shows how well this formula is working across India and overseas markets.Domestic sales in January stood at 93,781 units, up 16% year-on-year. Exports added 10,541 units, which is a 5% growth. Year-to-date numbers register over 10.25 lakh motorcycles sold so far this financial year, up 25% compared to last year. Exports have crossed 1 lakh units, growing 30% year-to-date.
According to B Govindarajan, Managing Director of Eicher Motors and CEO of Royal Enfield, this marks the fourth straight month of healthy double-digit growth, driven by expanding demand and deeper engagement with the rider community.

Royal Enfield also used the month to update its lineup with the Goan Classic 350 (2026 edition). Inspired by bobber styling and relaxed cruising, it now gets an assist-and-slipper clutch for smoother shifts and a USB Type-C fast charger. Powered by a 349cc engine which produces 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm torque, it is priced between Rs 2.19-Rs 2.22 lakh (ex-showroom).
Royal Enfield also partnered with Krafton India to bring the Bullet 350 and Continental GT 650 into the Battlegrounds Mobile India universe. Players can now ride these bikes in-game, along with earning themed rewards, which is an unusual but clever way to connect with younger audiences.
The brand also introduced Royal Enfield Gymkhana in Bengaluru, which are expert-led riding modules that help riders improve control and confidence across tarmac and off-road conditions, regardless of the motorcycle they own.
Crossing 1 million sales in 10 months, expanding exports, updating products and engaging riders both on-road and online, Royal Enfield’s start to 2026 shows that “Pure Motorcycling” is resonating widely, from highways to gaming screens.
