Skoda’s performance sedan is back. The 2025 Octavia RS is set to launch in India tomorrow, with initial batch already sold out and interest running hot. Skoda recently opened reservations with a Rs 2.50
lakh token amount, limited to 100 CBU units for the first batch. That cap has driven quick sell-outs in early booking windows, underlining strong demand among enthusiasts. Expect a feature-rich, sport-tuned package and an aggressive exterior treatment, with first customer deliveries slated to start in early November.

2025 Skoda Octavia RS: Powertrain
The Octavia RS draws power from a 2.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol motor with peak outputs of 265 hp and 370 Nm. This unit is mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox, sending power to the front wheels.
Skoda claims that the sedan will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds. The top speed stands at 250 km/h. Standard equipment includes sports suspension tuning and RS specific exhaust system that improves handling as well as adds excitement over the normal version.
2025 Skoda Octavia RS: Interior Layout And Features
Skoda has taken up a performance-inspired cabin, putting on display a glossy black theme with red highlights on the dashboard and seat upholstery. There are heavily bolstered bucket seats in leatherette material with contrast stitching, and an RS emblem right below the headrest area. It gets a three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel to add more sporty vibes into the mix, while carrying RS badging.
The features include a 13-inch infotainment unit, wireless charging, a 10-inch digital driver display, powered front seats, triple-zone climate, and powered tailgate.
2025 Skoda Octavia RS: Safety Tech
When it comes to safety, the new Octavia RS will come packed with features like multi-collision braking, ten airbags, intelligent park assist, blind spot detection, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), a 360-degree camera, ABS with EBD, and adaptive cruise control.

2025 Skoda Octavia RS: Availability And Deliveries
Skoda confirmed bookings for 100 units in the initial lot, taken at Rs 2.5 lakh ahead of price reveal. The allocation was snapped up within minutes, pointing to constrained supply at launch. Deliveries are scheduled to commence from November 6, 2025. The model will likely be priced close to Rs 45 lakh.
