Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India recorded positive numbers in the new financial year, banking on the demand for its diversified two-wheeler portfolio comprising Activa and Shine series. The company registered growth across monthly and quarterly sales, with both domestic demand and exports contributing to the performance. It sold 5.28 lakh 2Ws overall in June 2026. Honda 2W June 2026 Sales Grew By 23% YoY
As stated above, the Activa 125 manufacturer sold 5.28 lakh units in June, registering a 23.10% increase over 4.29 lakh units sold in the same month last year. The deliveries in the local market stood at 4.69 lakh units, a growth of 20.61%
from 3.89 lakh units sold during the corresponding month last year. Exports also witnessed robust growth, climbing 47.08% to 59,325 units compared to 40,335 sold units a year earlier.
Honda 2W Month-Over-Month Sales Performance
The total sales rose by a slight 1.83% from 5.18 lakh units in May 2026. The sales in the domestic arena grew by 2.03%, with dispatches increasing from 4.60 lakh units in May to 4.69 lakh units in June. The international shipments remained largely stable, inching up by 0.27% from 59,166 units to 59,325 units during the same period.
Honda 2W Q1 FY27 Sales Rise By 17.20%
During period of April-June period FY2027, HMSI sold 16.12 lakh units, exhibiting growth of 17.20% over 13.75 lakh units sold in Q1 FY2026. The sales in the domestic market grew 15.02% to 14.14 lakh units from 12.29 lakh units, while exports registered an even stronger 36% growth to 1.98 lakh units from 1.46 lakh units sold in Q1 FY26.
Honda sells a range of scooters and motorcycles in India, comprising the Activa 125, QC1, Honda SP160, H'ness CB35 and NX500. The diversified product lineup has enabled Honda to cater different types of buyers in the market.
