The reduced prices for cars under the new GST reforms have been announced and buyers now have to pay a lot less than before. While the cost-benefit applies to both budget and luxury car buyers, GST 2.0
is geared towards offering the most incentive to small car buyers. With cars under 4-metre length and 1,200cc capacity being taxed at a much lower 18 percent rate, the new GST rates are set to boost auto sales in the coming months.
Fortunately, a few popular compact SUV models also qualify for the same GST rates that apply to small cars. This particularly benefits car buyers who are looking to buy their first SUV or upgrade from a small car. Here are 5 such SUV models that are now cheaper to buy.
