It hints that a special edition of its popular entry-level supersport bike, the BMW G 310 RR, is on the way to hit the markets. The company recently released a teaser image showing the rear section of the bike with its bold “RR” badge in the background. While BMW hasn’t revealed the full details yet, this upcoming edition is expected to bring new design tweaks and extra features to make the bike even more
catchy.
The current model of BMW G 310 RR which is available in the market is priced at around Rs 3.05 lakh (ex-showroom) and has already built a strong reputation as a stylish and sporty machine for riders looking to enter the premium segment in budget. It packs a 312.12cc water-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 34 PS of power and 27.3 Nm of torque in its Sport/Track mode. This bike is quick enough to hit a top speed of 160 km/h.
The bike also has four riding modes: Sport, Track, Urban and Rain so riders can adjust performance to suit the weather or road conditions. Add to that BMW’s ABS safety system, LED headlights, upside-down front forks, and sporty aluminium wheels, and you have also got a package that’s practical enough for everyday use.
While BMW hasn’t officially revealed the upgrades, we can expect: Exclusive design elements like special paint jobs or graphics, Feature updates that improve rider comfort or tech appeal, and minor performance tweaks to make the bike feel sharper and more exciting. The G 310 RR sits in a very competitive segment in India because of its pricing, going up against rivals in the same segment.
