Honda has given its motorcycle lineup a visual overhaul, introducing new emblems to differentiate between its electric and internal-combustion bikes. All upcoming Honda electric motorcycles will now carry a redesigned “Honda” wordmark instead of the traditional Wing logo. This new minimalist emblem, first showcased on the Honda WN7, represents a cleaner, modern look. It will also appear across Honda’s EV showrooms, marketing material, and charging infrastructure to maintain a unified brand image across the electric domain.
Meanwhile, internal-combustion motorcycles will continue to feature the classic Wing mark but with updated distinctions. Flagship models such as the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade, Gold Wing, and Rebel 1100 will receive a new “Honda
Flagship WING” emblem. The design features a silver wing set against a black background, giving it a more premium and understated presence. This emblem made its debut on the V3R900 E-Compressor Prototype at EICMA 2025 and will start appearing on production models from 2026 onward.

For the rest of Honda’s ICE range, including mid-range and commuter motorcycles, the existing silver wing over a red background will remain in use. This emblem continues to serve as a symbol of Honda’s mass-market motorcycles, keeping its familiar identity intact while the brand redefines its upper-tier offerings.
According to Honda, the refreshed emblem strategy creates a clear separation between electric and ICE motorcycles while emphasising each segment’s unique character. The company also highlighted its 75-year legacy in combustion-engine development as a foundation for its ongoing shift to electric mobility.

Honda considers 2024 the official start of its large-scale global electric motorcycle rollout. The company plans to expand its EV two-wheeler lineup first in Asian markets before introducing them to other regions. The new “Honda” font used on electric motorcycles will also align with the one seen on Honda’s electric cars, symbolising a unified global identity for its EV range.
