Triumph Motorcycles India has rolled out festive season discounts on its Speed series, reducing ex-showroom prices for the Speed 400 and Speed T4 models. The cuts come amid similar market moves by other
manufacturers to spur demand during the festive season. Triumph’s official Instagram announcement confirms the reductions, which bring the Speed 400 and T4 closer to competitive pricing in the mid-capacity segment. Below is a breakdown of the new rates, how much you save, what remains unchanged in features, and what this means for buyers.

Triumph Speed 400, Speed T4: Revised Pricing And Discount Quantum
The Speed 400 has been discounted by up to Rs 16,797, trimming its ex-showroom price to approximately Rs 2,33,754 (from Rs 2,50,551 earlier). Meanwhile, the Speed T4 sees a cut of about Rs 14,199, taking its new ex-showroom price to Rs 1,92,539. It was previously priced at Rs 2,06,738. The festive cuts are positioned as temporary incentives to encourage sales during a typically high volume season.
Triumph Speed 400, Speed T4: What You Save And Real Benefit
The reductions align with typical festival offers in the two-wheeler market — not an overhaul of pricing strategy. Given that the Speed 400 had recently recorded a nominal price hike of Rs 4,177 (bringing it to about Rs 2,50,551). The current discount represents a rollback plus added benefit. For the T4, the cut establishes its ex-showroom rate at Rs 1,99,000 — a price level it had been temporarily offered at earlier through offers.
Features, Spec & Offer Scope — What Doesn’t Change
Neither model sees changes to features, mechanicals, or aesthetics. The Speed 400 retains its 398.15cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine (around 39.5 bhp), and the Speed T4 continues with a retuned version of the same displacement (approx. 30.6 bhp and 36 Nm). Triumph’s social posts confirm the price cuts but don’t list any other changes, confirming the changes are purely financial.

Buyer Takeaways And Timing Strategy
These discounts are short-term cues to boost sales. As always, state-to-state variations in RTO, insurance and dealer margins will adjust “on-road” cost significantly. If you were considering the Speed 400 or T4, now is a better window — but confirm with your dealer for actual price and stock availability. The move also suggests Triumph’s intent to counteract GST pressures and remain competitive in mid-capacity segments.
