The Kia Syros is designed as a compact SUV that fits perfectly into Indian driving conditions. Despite being under four metres in length, it offers a roomy cabin due to smart packaging. It measures 3995 mm in length and 1805 mm in width and offers 190 mm ground clearance, which helps in tackling broken roads, tall speed breakers and mild off-road situations. The boot space ranges from 390 to 465 litres, depending on the variant.

Engine
Kia offers the Syros with two engine choices which are 1.0-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel. The petrol engine produces 118 bhp and 172 Nm, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission. It delivers a mileage of up to 18.2 kmpl. On the other hand, the diesel engine generates 114 bhp and 250 Nm, making it more powerful in terms of torque. It comes with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic option, offering up to 20.75 kmpl mileage.
Interior
Inside the cabin, the Syros offers several premium features that set it apart from other compact SUVs. Higher variants include a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, a large Trinity Panoramic Display that combines a 12.3-inch touchscreen with a 12.3-inch digital driver display, ventilated seats, and a Harman Kardon 8-speaker sound system. The SUV also comes with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless charger, ambient lighting, connected car technology with OTA updates, and even rear door sunshades. These features make the Syros feel more like a premium mid-size SUV rather than a compact one.
Safety
