Benelli has expanded its big-capacity adventure-touring portfolio with the global unveiling of the TRK 902 Stradale, a version that trades the Xplorer’s rugged intent for a more road-friendly personality. It’s still built on the same steel frame and shares the familiar 904cc parallel-twin engine, but the Stradale has been tuned and equipped to appeal to those who spend most of their time on tarmac rather than trails.
The biggest shift comes from the chassis setup. Instead of the long-travel suspension of the Xplorer, the Stradale runs a shorter Marzocchi unit at both ends, which drops the seat height to 805 mm, much more approachable for a wider range of riders. The bike rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli Angel GT2 tyres. Braking
hardware is handled by Brembo, and the overall package should feel more planted and predictable on highways and fast sweepers than its off-road-tilted sibling.

Powering the Stradale is Benelli’s 904cc, liquid-cooled twin producing 96bhp and 90Nm. The motor uses a Bosch ride-by-wire system and is paired with a six-speed gearbox. On paper, it promises enough grunt for quick highway overtakes, which is exactly where the Stradale is meant to live. The 20-litre fuel tank also reinforces this long-legged touring brief.
Comfort and equipment levels are generous. The bike features an electrically adjustable windscreen, cruise control, heated grips and seats, and a seven-inch TFT display with integrated navigation. You get three modes: Sport, Touring and Urban, along with traction control, ABS, tyre-pressure monitoring and a quickshifter. Benelli is also offering a comprehensive accessories catalogue. Buyers can add crash protection, hard luggage, a dashcam and even a radar-based blind-spot detection system that throws visual cues onto the mirrors and dashboard.

What remains uncertain is whether Benelli will bring the TRK 902 Stradale to India. The company already sells the more affordable TRK 502 here, priced from Rs 6.62 lakh (ex-showroom), but the premium 900cc space is a tougher battleground, especially after the GST 2.0 revision.
