MG Windsor EV: Specifications
Mechanically, the Windsor EV Inspire Edition is expected to remain identical to the regular versions. The Windsor EV is currently offered with two battery pack options: 38 kWh and 52.9 kWh. The smaller pack delivers a claimed range of up to 332 km on a single charge, while the larger unit offers a higher 449 km range under standard test conditions.
Both variants use the same front-mounted electric motor that produces 136 hp and 200 Nm of peak torque. This setup has been appreciated for its smooth power delivery and city-friendly performance. Charging times are also competitive — the 38 kWh version can charge from 20 to 80 percent in about 45 minutes using a fast charger, while the larger battery takes around 50 minutes for the same.

MG is not expected to make any technical or powertrain changes with the Inspire Edition. Instead, the brand is likely using this special edition to keep the Windsor EV fresh in the market and mark its first-year milestone in India. More details about pricing and availability are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
