From September 22, 2025, KTM India has reduced ex-showroom prices on several sub-350cc models in response to the revised GST structure. Under the new rules, motorcycles up to 350cc are taxed at 18% GST instead
of the previous 28%. KTM is passing those savings to buyers: models including the 160 Duke, 200 Duke, 250 Duke, RC 200, and 250 Adventure have seen price cuts of up to Rs 20,000. These reductions bring the 160 Duke down to about Rs 1.70 lakh, the 200 Duke to roughly Rs 1.91 lakh, and the 250 Adventure to around Rs 2.40 lakh (all ex-showroom in Delhi). The changes make KTM’s mid-capacity bikes more affordable just as the festive buying season begins.

GST 2.0 Changes And Tax Impact
With the rollout of GST 2.0, all two-wheelers falling in the category of up to 350cc attract an 18% tax rate. This is against the earlier combined structure of GST and cess where higher tax burdens were levied. In contrast, models above 350cc will now attract a higher tax rate of 40%. KTM's sub-350cc motorcycles have now fallen in the lower tax slab eliciting these new price adjustments.

Here are the specific reductions for KTM’s affected models (ex-showroom Delhi):
- 160 Duke: from Rs 1.84 lakh to Rs 1.70 lakh (reduction of Rs 14,000)

What This Means For Buyers
KTM’s mid-capacity bikes are witnessing a reduction in their ex-showroom prices. Though the state tax, RTO fees, and insurance may vary from one state to another, this upfront saving adds to the value proposition. For KTM, absorbing tax reductions may help maintain competitiveness, especially as other brands adjust prices.
