Hyundai has officially teased the all-new generation of its popular compact SUV, the Venue, confirming that its India launch will take place on November 4. While test mules have been spotted in both India and
overseas over the past few months, this is the first time Hyundai has shared an official glimpse of the upcoming model.

The 2026 Venue marks a major design evolution for the nameplate. It now follows Hyundai’s latest SUV design language, taking cues from larger models like the Creta, Tucson, and even the futuristic Ioniq range. The front end looks more assertive, featuring a split-headlamp setup, C-shaped LED daytime running lights, and a new, wider grille that gives the SUV a more confident face. The bumper design has also been reworked, with sharper creases and air intakes that add a sporty touch.

Based on the spy shots, the new Venue looks more refined than before. The silhouette appears cleaner, complemented by a blacked-out C-pillar that integrates the Venue branding, muscular wheel arches, and a new set of 16-inch alloys. The rear section has seen the most dramatic change, with a full-width LED light bar framed by glossy black trim. This design choice not only makes the Venue look wider but also gives it a more premium stance.
The interior is where Hyundai seems to have made the biggest leap. The new cabin adopts a twin-screen layout that merges the digital instrument cluster and the central infotainment display into one sleek, curved unit—similar to what we’ve seen in the new Creta. The dashboard design is tidier, with improved materials and a modern steering wheel. Key new features are expected to include a 360-degree camera, wireless phone connectivity, and Hyundai’s latest Level 2 ADAS suite, which adds advanced driver-assistance features.

Powertrain options are unlikely to change significantly. Hyundai is expected to continue offering the familiar trio of engines: the 1.2-litre petrol (83hp), 1.0-litre turbo-petrol (120hp), and 1.5-litre diesel (100hp). Gearbox choices should include a 5-speed manual for the 1.2, a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT for the turbo variant, and a 6-speed manual for the diesel.
