The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 continues to be one of the most loved modern classics in India, combining timeless styling with a strong parallel-twin motor. For 2025, the Interceptor is available in six

colour options with prices starting from Rs 3.32 lakh (ex-showroom). The base colours are Cali Green and Canyon Red, both priced at Rs 3.32 lakh. Sunset Strip comes next at Rs 3.40 lakh, followed by Barcelona Blue and Black Ray at Rs 3.51 lakh. The top-spec Mark 2 variant, which pays tribute to the original Interceptor, is priced at Rs 3.62 lakh.

Powering the motorcycle is a 648cc parallel-twin, air/oil-cooled engine. This smooth and torquey unit produces 34.9 kW at 7,250 rpm and 52.3 Nm at 5,150 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox that features a slip-and-assist clutch. The ARAI certified mileage of the Interceptor 650 is 23 km/l.

The bike is built on a steel tubular double-cradle frame that offers excellent stability and balance. Up front, it gets telescopic forks, while the rear is handled by twin gas-charged shock absorbers with adjustable preload. This setup gives the Interceptor a comfortable ride without compromising on handling.

In terms of size, the Interceptor 650 measures 2,119 mm in length, 835 mm in width, and 1,067 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1,398 mm. The ground clearance stands at 174 mm, while the kerb weight is 218 kg. It carries a 13.7-litre fuel tank, offering a decent range between refills. Braking duties are handled by a 320 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc, both equipped with dual-channel ABS for added safety. The motorcycle rides on 18-inch wheels, fitted with 100/90 front and 130/70 rear tyres. Lighting duties are managed by a new LED headlamp, while the tail lamp remains halogen. The bike also features a USB charging port for convenience.
