Maruti Suzuki has introduced the new Victoris SUV in India. Built on the same platform as the Grand Vitara, the Victoris shares its basic architecture but targets a different set of customers. While the Grand Vitara is retailed
through Maruti’s premium Nexa dealerships, the Victoris is offered through the company’s Arena outlets. Both SUVs feature strong-hybrid powertrains, but there are notable differences in pricing and specifications.

The Victoris Hybrid is available in five trims: VXi, ZXi, ZXi (O), ZXi+ and ZXi+ (O). Prices start at Rs 16.37 lakh for the VXi Hybrid and go up to Rs 19.98 lakh for the top-end ZXi+ (O) Hybrid.

Maruti Suzuki Victoris Hybrid Vs Maruti Grand Vitara Hybrid: Powertrain and Efficiency
Both SUVs use a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder strong-hybrid petrol engine paired with an e-motor and a CVT automatic gearbox. On paper, the Victoris Hybrid produces 114 hp and 122 Nm, while the Grand Vitara Hybrid makes 115 hp and 122 Nm. Fuel efficiency is another differentiator. Maruti Suzuki claims the Victoris Hybrid delivers an ARAI-certified mileage of 28.65 km/l, marginally higher than the Grand Vitara Hybrid’s 27.97 km/l.

The Victoris Hybrid undercuts the Grand Vitara Hybrid at the entry level but reaches slightly higher at the top end. Both models offer near-identical powertrains, but the Victoris is positioned to appeal to Arena customers with a marginally higher claimed fuel efficiency. The Grand Vitara, meanwhile, continues to target the premium segment through Nexa dealerships with its established branding.
