Tata Motors has launched the new Nexon Pure+ PS variant at Rs 9.59 lakh (ex-showroom), bringing a panoramic sunroof to the sub-Rs 10 lakh SUV space for the first time. The new trim sits in the middle of the Nexon lineup and targets buyers who want premium features without stretching into higher variants. The Pure+ PS has been introduced across petrol, diesel and iCNG powertrains. This makes it one of the more feature-focused options in the compact SUV segment. The launch is significant because panoramic sunroofs have increasingly become a major buying factor for Indian SUV customers especially younger urban buyers.
Tata Nexon Pure+ PS Prices And Features
The Tata Nexon Pure+ PS petrol-manual variant is priced at Rs 9.59 lakh, while the petrol-AMT costs Rs 10.14 lakh. Tata has also
introduced the trim with the twin-cylinder iCNG manual at Rs 10.39 lakh, diesel-manual at Rs 10.54 lakh and diesel-AMT at Rs 11.19 lakh. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom.
The panoramic sunroof is the biggest talking point because this feature was previously available only in higher Nexon trims such as Creative+ PS and Fearless+ PS. Tata has now brought it to a much lower price bracket. The Pure+ PS also gets features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, rear AC vents, cruise control as well as voice-assisted sunroof operation.
This matters because compact SUV buyers today are increasingly prioritising features such as larger screens, connected tech and panoramic sunroofs alongside traditional factors like mileage and safety.

Why Tata’s New Nexon Variant Could Matter To Buyers
The Nexon remains one of India’s highest-selling compact SUVs, and Tata appears to be using the Pure+ PS variant to strengthen its value positioning in a segment crowded with rivals such as the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Brezza and Mahindra XUV 3XO.
Feature-led buying behaviour has grown rapidly in the SUV segment over the last few years. Earlier, panoramic sunroofs were mostly limited to SUVs priced closer to Rs 12 lakh to Rs 15 lakh. By offering the feature below Rs 10 lakh, Tata is likely targeting buyers who want a more premium-looking ownership experience without moving into significantly higher price brackets.
The Pure+ PS also arrives as Tata celebrates crossing 10 lakh cumulative Nexon sales in India. This highlights how important the compact SUV has become for the brand’s overall passenger vehicle business.
