MG Windsor EV prices have gone up by up to Rs 60,000 across variants with effect from July 2026. This marks the brand's second price revision this year. The entry ex-showroom price now stands at Rs 14.69 lakh for the base Excite and goes up to Rs 19 lakh for the top Essence Pro. Under the Battery-as-a-Service model, the Windsor still starts at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom) but the per-kilometre charge structure makes actual ownership costs depend heavily on how much you drive. Read on to know the variant-wise prices for the model.
MG Windsor: New Variant-wise Prices
The Windsor EV currently comes in five variants with the following ex-showroom prices:
- The Excite, the entry point, is priced at Rs 14,69,800, carrying a 10.1-inch touchscreen, 6 airbags, Aero-Lounge rear seats with 135-degree recline and 17-inch alloy wheels on a smaller 38kWh battery pack.
- The Exclusive moves to Rs 15,99,800, upgrading to a 15.6-inch GrandView touchscreen, a 360-degree camera, flush door handles, 18-inch diamond-cut alloys and 80-plus iSmart connected features.
- The Essence adds to that at Rs 16,99,800, bringing in the Infinity View glass roof, 9-speaker Infinity audio, 256-colour ambient lighting, ventilated front seats and a PM2.5 filter.
- The Exclusive Pro steps up to Rs 17,89,800 for the larger 52.9kWh battery, delivering 449km of MIDC-certified range, dual-tone ivory interiors and an included 7.4kW AC charger.
- The Essence Pro, the range-topper, lands at Rs 18,99,800, adding Level-2 ADAS, Vehicle-to-Load, Vehicle-to-Vehicle charging, a powered tailgate and the same 52.9kWh battery as the Exclusive Pro.
The MG Windsor EV's core proposition has always been its BaaS model which removes the battery from the upfront price to make the car
accessible to more buyers. That floor stays unchanged at Rs 9.99 lakh plus Rs 3.99/km for the base variant and Rs 4.50/km for Pro variants. But under an outright purchase, the gap between the Windsor and rivals has narrowed: a Hyundai Creta Electric now starts from Rs 10.99 lakh with BaaS and the Tata Sierra EV has entered the segment with comparable spec at overlapping price points. For buyers who drive fewer than 50km daily, the per-kilometre BaaS cost adds up faster than it might initially seem. This makes a spreadsheet comparison against the full ex-showroom price worthwhile before booking.
