Hero MotoCorp has taken another big step in the electric vehicle (EV) space with the launch of the VIDA Evooter VX2 Go 3.4 kWh variant. The new addition strengthens the company’s growing VIDA electric mobility portfolio and aims to make electric scooters more accessible to Indians.
The new variant was unveiled by Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, in New Delhi. The government is continuing to focus on promoting clean and green transport across the country.
What's New?
The VIDA Evooter VX2 Go 3.4 kWh has been designed keeping the needs of everyday Indian commuters in mind with practicality, efficiency, and ease of use. It features a dual-removable battery system, which gives riders a real-world range of up to 100 km on a single
charge.
The scooter is powered by a 6 kW motor that produces 26 Nm of torque and ensures smooth acceleration and quick response. Riders can switch between Eco and Ride modes for flexibility, while the scooter’s top speed of 70 km/h offers a balance of performance and safety for urban use.
Other practical features include a flat floorboard, a large 27.2-litre under-seat storage and a spacious seat, which is perfect for solo riders or small families. Its suspension system is tuned specifically for Indian roads that ensures a comfortable ride even on bumpy roads.

Smart Ownership and Affordability
To make EV ownership easier, VIDA continues its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model. This means customers can subscribe to the battery instead of buying it, significantly reducing upfront costs.
The Evooter VX2 Go 3.4 kWh is priced at Rs 1.02 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), while the BaaS plan starts at Rs 60,000, with a pay-per-kilometre rate of Rs 0.90.
The company has also built a strong support network, with over 4,600 charging points and 700+ service touchpoints across India, which makes charging and maintenance hassle-free for riders.
Vision
Kausalya Nandakumar, Chief Business Officer, Emerging Mobility Business Unit, Hero MotoCorp, said, “VIDA has always stood for progress, combining innovation with functionality to enhance life for Indian riders. The new Evooter VX2 Go 3.4 kWh offers greater range, performance, and convenience, perfectly suited for India’s evolving urban lifestyle.”
The VX2 range now includes three models - VX2 Go 2.2 kWh, VX2 Go 3.4 kWh and VX2 Plus, which caters to different types of riders, from daily commuters to performance enthusiasts.
