If you have ever dreamt of owning a honda bike which is sporty yet practical, then this is the right time to buy one as the brand has announced a price cut for its CB300F, making it one of the most affordable
300cc motorcycles in India today. All thanks to the recent GST revision, the CB300F’s price has dropped by Rs 15,000, bringing it down from Rs 1.70 lakh to Rs 1.55 lakh (ex-showroom) now.
The CB300F has had a rather bumpy ride in India since its launch, however when Honda introduced it a few years ago, the bike was priced at Rs 2.29 lakh. Many bikers felt that was too expensive for what it offered, especially since there were stronger competitors in the market. To attract customers, Honda rolled out a massive discount of Rs 50,000, and later revised the price permanently to Rs 1.70 lakh. Now, after this latest reduction, the CB300F feels like a much smarter deal than before with the trust and technology of Honda.
So, something that makes this bike special is the Honda CB300F is a lightweight streetfighter motorcycle designed mainly for city use and daily commutes. It is built for riders who want a mix of classy looks, comfortable ergonomics, and performance without digging a hole in the pocket. The bike’s manageable weight and smooth engine make it easy to ride in everyday traffic while still offering enough punch for occasional highway drives.

Interestingly, Honda also sells a flex-fuel version of the CB300F, which can run on E85 fuel, which is a blend of 85% ethanol and petrol. This makes this motorbike more eco-friendly and future-ready, as India slowly moves toward ethanol-based fuels. What is even better is that the flex-fuel version costs exactly the same as the regular petrol model, priced at Rs 1.55 lakh.
At this new price, the CB300F competes closely with bikes like the KTM 250 Duke and Yamaha FZ-25, but it undercuts many of them in terms of price while offering the premium quality and performance that Honda is known for.
With its sharp styling, everyday usability, and now at an even more attractive price tag, the Honda CB300F has transformed into a value-for-money choice for new or young riders who want their first big motorcycle experience with high performance.
