Kawasaki India has announced limited-period discounts on the Z650 and Z650RS, making these middleweight bikes more accessible in the market. The price cuts are part of the brand’s New Year offer valid until January 31, 2026, and apply to units manufactured in 2025. With reduced ex-showroom prices, the street-naked Z650 now sits below Rs 7 lakh, while the Z650RS retro variant is also cheaper than before, improving value for buyers interested in performance bikes with distinctive styling. Both bikes continue to use the same 649 cc parallel-twin engine and mechanical setup they are known for.

by Rs 27,000, bringing its new price to Rs 6.99 lakh in India. This positions the Z650 just under the Rs 7 lakh mark.
On the other hand, the Z650RS has received a discount of Rs 20,000, lowering its price to approximately Rs 7.63 lakh (ex-showroom).
These offers apply only to 2025 manufactured units and are valid until the end of January. Buyers should confirm stock availability and pricing details with authorised Kawasaki dealerships.
Kawasaki Z650, Z650RS: Performance And Specifications
Both the Z650 and Z650RS are powered by a 649 cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that produces around 67 bhp and approximately 64 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and a slip/assist clutch for smoother shifts and reduced fatigue in traffic. Despite the price drop, there are no mechanical changes to either model, which means that performance figures and ride characteristics remain the same as before.
Kawasaki Z650, Z650RS: What The Discount Means For Buyers
The discounts make Kawasaki’s 650cc bikes more affordable for enthusiasts seeking midweight performance without stretching the budget too far. The Z650 offers a more aggressive streetfighter design, while the Z650RS carries retro styling cues with a classic round headlight and upright ergonomics. Both models now present a better value proposition during this limited offer period.
