The 2025 Ducati Streetfighter V2 and V2 S have officially launched in India today, bringing Italian performance mixed with everyday practicality. The bikes are launched in Ducati Red and are priced at Rs
17,50,200 for the Streetfighter V2 and Rs 19,48,900 for the V2 S.
These motorcycles are built on the same platform as the Panigale V2, which is Ducati’s popular middleweight supersport but reimagined for street riding with more comfort, upright ergonomics and advanced electronics.
Ducati calls this their “Fight Formula,” which means the bikes are designed to be fast, sharp and fun while remaining usable for daily rides. Both versions follow the sporty, aggressive Streetfighter design with a compact front section with full LED lighting and a slim, stylish tail that visually balances the bike.
Ducati has added new six-spoke alloy wheels finished in black, along with ergonomic upgrades such as an aluminium handlebar, adjustable levers, well-shaped footpegs and a rider-friendly 838 mm seat height.

Powering the 2025 Streetfighter V2 is an 890cc, 90-degree V-twin engine that produces 118.3 bhp at 10,750 rpm and 93.3 Nm at 8,250 rpm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox featuring Ducati Quick Shift 2.0, which allows fast clutchless upshifts and downshifts. Riders who want even more power can opt for Ducati’s racing exhaust, which increases the output to 124.2 bhp and reduces weight.
The engine sits inside a monocoque frame where it acts as a stressed part of the chassis, which is a design Ducati uses to keep weight low and handling sharp. The Streetfighter V2 weighs 178 kg without fuel, while the V2 S is lighter at 175 kg due to its lithium-ion battery.
Suspension is another key difference between the two models. The standard V2 uses fully adjustable Marzocchi front forks and a Kayaba rear shock, while the V2 S gets premium Ohlins NIX-30 front forks and an Ohlins rear shock for superior handling of the bikes.
Both versions include a Sachs steering damper, Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres and powerful Brembo M50 brakes with 320 mm front discs. The bike is also loaded with electronics supported by a 6-axis IMU, offering cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, engine brake control and multiple riding modes like Race, Sport, Road and Wet. A 5-inch TFT display provides three viewing layouts to suit different riding styles with ease.
Ducati also offers optional extras including a Lap Timer Pro, cruise control, turn-by-turn navigation, USB charging, TPMS tyre sensors and the racing exhaust. The V2 S also gets additional features like Ducati Power Launch, a pit limiter and its premium suspension setup.
