From the Sierra EV to Punch Flex Fuel, Tata Motors is set to launch a range of new models in India in 2026. The homegrown automaker, which has consistently remained among the country’s best-selling brands, will offer a mix of electric vehicles, facelifts and alternative-fuel models. These cars will span across different price points. The Nexon, Punch, and Tiago are some of the popular models Tata currently has on sale in India. The upcoming Tata Car launches will add to the brand's prestige in the market, and offer more options to prospective buyers across SUV, hatchback and sedan segments. Tata Sierra EV

The Tata Sierra EV is undeniably one of the brand’s most anticipated launches of the year.

It will be a big thing for the brand, with the Sierra wearing the electric badge for the very first time. Based on the test mule sightings, the Tata Sierra SUV is expected to retain the retro-inspired styling of the ICE model. It will distinguish itself with a few EV-specific elements, including a closed front panel, and a body-finished branding. The upcoming Sierra EV will be underpinned by the homegrown automaker's dedicated EV platform, and is expected to offer a premium cabin, advanced connected features and a range of more than 500 kilometres on a single charge. Majority of the exterior and cabin features are likely to be similar to that of the ICE variant. Prices of the Tata EV are anticipated to start at Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Safari EV

The electrified Safari is also under development for the Indian market. While the overall design is expected to remain close to the ICE-powered sibling, the EV variant could set itself apart with an enclosed grille, and aero-focused alloy wheels. We can anticipate the features both for comfort and safety to be borrowed from the Safari ICE. If this comes true, it will enable the electrified SUV to maintain long-distance comfort and practicality, and target large families looking to shift towards electric mobility without compromising on space or road presence. The car is expected to come with battery pack options, and have a competitive starting price tag of Rs 26 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Avinya EV

Tata will also introduce a production-spec version of the Avinya concept in India. Unlike Tata’s current EVs, the Avinya is being developed as a born-electric product based on Jaguar Land Rover-derived architecture. Showcased at the Auto Expo in 2022, and in 2025 as a more evolved version X, the Avinya stands out with its futuristic looks. It has a minimalist cabin, lounge-like seating and sustainable interior materials. The production-ready model is expected to feature ultra-fast charging capability, ADAS. Tata is likely to positioning the Avinya as a premium electric offering for the modern-age EV buyers in India. Prices of the production-spec Avinya could start at Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Punch Flex Fuel Car

Tata Motors has been exploring alternative fuel technologies since a long time now. The new Punch Flex Fuel model is expected to be the first model under the category. It will use ethanol-blended fuel, and target those buyers seeking to reduce dependence on conventional petrol while maintaining lower emissions. The flex-fuel Punch could retain the familiar design and practicality of the current ICE model while receiving engine modifications to support higher ethanol blends. The price of the Flex Fuel Version is likely to fetch a premium of about Rs 50,000-80,000 over the regular Punch.

Tata Tiago Facelift

The Tata Tiago is expected to receive another update in 2026 to maintain its relevance in the crowded segment. The facelifted model could get revised styling elements like a new grille, tweaked bumpers and redesigned alloy wheel designs. Tata may also equip the cabin with a bigger infotainment screen, fresh upholstery and more connected features. The Tiago is already available in petrol, CNG and EV versions. With notable improvements, the facelift could be priced higher than the existing model (Rs 5 lakh, starting ex-showroom).
