Lamborghini has delivered its first Temerario unit in India at around Rs 6 crore (ex-showroom). This is the car that replaces the Huracan and it is the second model in Lamborghini's HPEV lineup, after the Revuelto. Unlike the Huracan, the Temerario is a hybrid — which tells you where Lamborghini is taking its product line. For anyone tracking what is happening at the top end of India's supercar market, this first delivery is worth noting.
What Is the Temerario and What Does It Put Out?
The Lamborghini Temerario takes the mid-engine slot that the Huracan held for years. The powertrain is a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 with three electric motors bolted in, giving a combined output of about 907hp. It covers 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and goes past 340 km/h at the top end. The combustion engine revs
to 10,000 rpm, which Lamborghini says is a first for a production supercar of this type. Power goes to all four wheels through an e-4WD system with electric torque vectoring managing distribution between the wheels. You get 13 driving modes — from Citta for city use to Corsa for the track, with Recharge, Hybrid, and Performance modes in the mix as well.
What It Looks Like and How Much You Can Customise It
The exterior design uses a hexagonal lighting theme, and the rear is shaped so the hybrid powertrain stays visible — it is not hidden away. The surfaces are clean and serve aerodynamic and thermal functions at the same time. Inside, the layout is driver-focused with a combination of digital screens and physical controls that take some cues from aircraft cockpits. Standard materials include carbon fibre, leather and Dinamica fabric. Anyone wanting to go further with interior personalisation can access the Ad Personam programme, which opens up a wider set of options beyond what comes as standard.
What This First Delivery Actually Means
India got its first look at the Temerario in April 2025 at a regional preview, and deliveries have now started. Lamborghini picking India as an early market for the Temerario is not a small thing — it shows the brand views India as a genuine volume market for its electrified range, not an afterthought. If you are in this price bracket and considering one, the order books are open. That said, given the kind of interest this car has generated, do not expect a short wait. These are not sitting in a showroom ready to go.
