Engine Options
The 2025 Tigor continues to use Tata’s 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine which produces 86 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque, that is enough for smooth city driving. For buyers who don't want to spend heavy on fuel expenses, this brand also offers a bi-fuel CNG option. In CNG mode, the engine produces 73.5 PS and 95 Nm. But the best part about this sedan is its mileage, as it delivers 19.28-19.6 kmpl
in petrol and 26.49-28.06 km/kg in CNG variant.
Both petrol and CNG versions come with either a 5-speed manual or an AMT automatic transmission which makes the car easy to drive even for beginners.
Dimensions and Practicality
The 2025 Tigor is a compact sedan under 4 metres, but it has good space for a small family. One highlight of this car is that it has generous 419-litre boot, especially impressive in the CNG variant due to Tata’s twin-cylinder setup that frees up enough luggage room. Looking at the key dimensions this sedan is 3993 mm long with 1677 mm width. It has a wheelbase of 2450 mm and ground clearance of 170 mm, which is good for Indian roads.
Features
The biggest update for 2025 is the addition of a 10.25-inch Harman touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which is something rarely seen in this segment. Top variants also get a 360-degree camera that makes parking in tight spaces easier for new drivers.
From the inside, Tata has upgraded the cabin with a new brown and off-white theme, a premium 2-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo and automatic climate control.
Safety
Safety remains one of the Tigor’s biggest selling points as it holds a 4-star Global NCAP rating and includes dual airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability program (ESP), hill hold control, TPMS, rear camera with parking sensors and 360-degree camera in top trims.
Exterior
In 2025, the Tigor gets exterior updates with LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs, R15 dual-tone alloy wheels, auto-folding mirrors and rain-sensing wipers. These features give this sedan a premium look without increasing the price.
The 2025 Tata Tigor combines fuel efficiency, safety, modern features and affordability. With petrol and CNG options, touchscreen upgrades and a proven safety rating, it continues to stand strong in India’s competitive compact sedan space.
