Honda December 2025 Sales Performance
HMSI recorded total sales of approximately 3.92 lakh units in December 2025, registering a sharp year-on-year increase of about 45%. The growth was driven primarily by the domestic market, supported by improved retail traction in both urban and semi-urban regions. The December performance helped HMSI close the calendar year on a strong note after gradual improvement in monthly volumes through 2025.
Key Models Driving Volume
The Honda Activa remained the brand’s highest-selling product, continuing to anchor scooter volumes. The Honda Shine also contributed significantly in the commuter motorcycle segment, where consistent demand for 125cc bikes remains strong. Other models such as the Dio and the CB350 range added incremental volumes, helping balance HMSI’s overall product mix.
Scooter Segment Contribution
Scooters formed a major part of HMSI’s December sales, with Activa and Dio accounting for a large share. Demand for automatic scooters continues to be driven by daily commuting needs, ease of use and lower running costs. The scooter segment has remained resilient, particularly in metros and tier-1 cities.
Motorcycle Portfolio Impact
On the motorcycle side, commuter-focused models like the Shine continued to perform steadily. Honda’s premium offerings, including the CB350 range, also supported overall volumes, catering to buyers looking for higher displacement motorcycles with a classic design approach.
