Under the skin, the 250 Adventure packs a 249.07cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, SOHC engine that’s liquid-cooled for consistent performance even in tough riding conditions. It churns out 31 hp at 9250 rpm and 25 Nm of torque at 7250 rpm; numbers that make it one of the most powerful quarter-litre ADVs in its class. The engine is paired with a slick 6-speed gearbox and features KTM’s advanced Ride-by-Wire system for precise throttle control. The ARAI-certified mileage of the KTM 250 Adventure is 38.12 km/l.

KTM 250 Adventure: Suspension
When it comes to suspension, KTM hasn’t held back. The front end gets 43 mm WP APEX USD forks with 200 mm of travel, while the rear uses a WP APEX monoshock offering 205 mm of wheel travel and 10-step preload adjustment. This setup is designed to soak up everything from potholes to rocky trails with ease. Ground clearance is a generous 228 mm, allowing riders to glide over obstacles without worry.

Stopping power is handled by a 320 mm front disc with a radially mounted calliper and a 240 mm rear disc with a floating calliper. The 250 Adventure also comes equipped with Offroad ABS, letting you slide the rear wheel in dirt while keeping the front under control. Add in a slipper clutch, Quickshifter+, and a 12V USB socket, and you’ve got a machine that’s as practical as it is fun.
