Aprilia has added a fresh splash of colour to its popular mid-capacity sportbike by revealing new paint schemes for the RS 457 at India Bike Week 2025. This update makes the RS 457 even more exciting,
stylish and desirable without any major changes.
The Italian motorcycle brand Aprilia showcased three new colour options for the RS 457 – GP Replica which is also referred to as Racing Replica, Coral Blue Snake (Snake Blue), and Arsenic Yellow. These new colours are expected to reach Indian showrooms by January 2026, giving buyers more ways to express their personality through their motorcycle.
Among the three, the Arsenic Yellow option takes a slightly subtle but aggressive approach. The bike gets a darker overall finish, highlighted by bold yellow graphics that stand out sharply. To add a sporty touch, Aprilia has given this version red-finished alloy wheels, which instantly grab attention and enhance the bike’s race-inspired look. This colour will likely appeal to riders who want something unique without being overly flashy.

On the other hand, the Snake Blue colour scheme is designed for those who love bold and vibrant styling. It combines a rich blue body colour with striking red graphics, creating a strong visual contrast. This shade is inspired by the Blue Marlin colour seen on the larger Aprilia RS 660, making it feel familiar yet exciting. Like the Arsenic Yellow version, this variant also gets red-finished rims, reinforcing its sporty character.
The most premium of the three is the Racing Replica or GP Replica version. This colour scheme is inspired directly by Aprilia’s RS-GP MotoGP race bike, giving the RS 457 a true track-focused identity. What makes this version special is not just the graphics, but also the added equipment. It comes with a quickshifter as standard, along with adjustable brake and clutch levers. These features improve riding convenience and performance, especially during spirited riding or track use, making it the most feature-rich option in the lineup.
However, Aprilia has not made any mechanical or technical changes to the RS 457. The motorcycle continues to be powered by a 457 cc parallel-twin engine producing 47.6 hp and 43.5 Nm of torque and this engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch, which helps make gear changes smoother and reduces fatigue in city riding.
There is still some uncertainty about whether these new colour options will replace the existing ones or be sold alongside them. Pricing has also not been officially announced, but the RS 457 currently costs Rs 4.54 lakh (ex-showroom). With fresh colours and a premium variant offering more features, Aprilia is aim to keep the RS 457 attractive in India’s growing performance motorcycle segment.
