Reaching 1,000 sales may not sound huge compared to mass-market cars, but in the luxury EV space, it reflects strong acceptance. The BMW i7 looks bold and modern, as it features split headlamps, with slim daytime running lights placed higher up. The large kidney grille is illuminated which makes the car stand out. BMW has also added crystal elements inside the headlamps, which add to the premium feel.

This system offers navigation with real-time traffic information and an augmented view, which helps drivers understand complex road situations more easily.
At the rear, passengers get a massive 31-inch 8K touchscreen with Amazon Fire TV built in, turning the back seat into a cinema. The Executive Lounge seat behind the front passenger can recline up to 42.5 degrees and comes with massage and ventilation functions. There is also a large panoramic glass roof with LED lighting, which passengers can control according to their mood.
Powering the BMW i7 eDrive50 is BMW’s fifth-generation electric drive technology. The single electric motor produces 442.8 bhp and 650 Nm of torque, allowing the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.5 seconds. BMW also claims a driving range of up to 603 km, while the top speed is limited to 240 kmph.
Commenting on the milestone, Hardeep Singh Brar, President and CEO of BMW Group India, said that the BMW i7 represents the future of luxury mobility and reflects strong customer trust in BMW’s electric vision.
With 1,000 units now delivered, the BMW i7 has played a significant role in strengthening BMW’s position in India’s growing luxury electric vehicle market and signals that premium EV adoption is gaining momentum.
