Practicality and Space
Unlike the older seven-seater Kodiaq Style, the new five-seater Lounge variant removes the third row of seats which eventually free up extra boot space.
This makes it an ideal choice for small families or long-distance travelers who want more luggage room over extra seats. From the inside, the Lounge features grey fabric upholstery which gives it a clean and elegant look.
Engine and Power
The Kodiaq Lounge is equipped with the same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, which is found in higher variants. It produces 204 PS of power and 320 Nm of torque and is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The car also features all-wheel drive (AWD) which ensures great control on highways, rough roads and even slippery surfaces.

Even though it is the base trim, the Lounge variant comes with premium technology such as a 10.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 10.25-inch digital driver display, panoramic sunroof and wireless phone charging. Looking at the safety, it includes nine airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Hill-Start Assist. These safety features are all standard across the Kodiaq range.
Style
The Kodiaq Lounge variant is noticeable with its 18-inch single-tone alloy wheels which gives it a bold yet subtle look. However, it skips some of the chrome detailing seen in the higher trims but retains Skoda’s elegant European styling.
