Engine and Performance
The TVS Raider 125 is equipped with a 124.8cc, single-cylinder, 3-valve, air- and oil-cooled engine that produces 11.2 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 11.2 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. Some variants, like the Raider iGO, generate slightly higher torque of 11.75 Nm for extra punch.
This engine is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox that ensures smooth gear shifts, whether you are going through city traffic or cruising at steady speeds. TVS claims the Raider can go from 0–60 km/h in just 5.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 99 km/h, which makes it one of the quickest bikes in its category.
Mileage
One of the biggest highlights in any two wheeler is its fuel efficiency. The Raider 125 offers an ARAI-certified mileage of 56.7 km/l and with a 10-liter fuel tank, it can easily deliver a range of over 500 km on a full tank.

Design and Comfort
The TVS Raider has got aggressive styling, sharp LED headlamps and sculpted fuel tank to make it look much sportier than most 125cc bikes. The split or single seat setup to choose from, wide handlebar, and well-padded seat ensure rider comfort. At just 123 - 125 kg, the bike feels light and easy to handle.
The TVS Raider also includes some smart design touches like under-seat storage, which is a rare feature in this segment, and five-step adjustable rear suspension for a smooth and efficient ride.
Technology and Features
This bike offers two riding modes - Eco which is for maximum mileage and Power or Boost Mode for quicker acceleration. The iGO Assist Boost Mode even provides a short burst of torque for better pickup.
Higher variants get a 5-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity, voice assist and turn-by-turn navigation through TVS SmartXonnect. There’s also a reverse LCD console on lower variants that shows useful info like fuel economy, gear position and range. Other premium features include a Follow-Me Headlamp, Intelligent Stop-Start System and Glide Through Technology (GTT).
Safety and Variants
The Raider 125 comes with drum or dual-disc brakes and the top models feature single-channel ABS for better safety. As of October 2025, the Raider 125 lineup includes variants like Drum, Split Seat - Disc, iGO, Super Squad Edition (Marvel-inspired), and TFT DD. It’s available in vibrant colors such as Wicked Black, Fiery Yellow, Blazing Blue, Forza Blue, Striking Red and Nardo Grey.
