Engine and performance
Under the hood, the i20 N Line is equipped with 1.0-litre Turbo GDi petrol engine that produces 120 PS of power and 172 Nm of torque and delivers an ARAI-certified mileage of approximately 20 kmpl. It is paired with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT) for those who prefer an automatic. You can even switch between Eco, Normal and Sport driving modes. The car offers confident handling with disc brakes on all four wheels, 16-inch alloy wheels and a tuned suspension setup for better control.
Design
Hyundai has gone all out with the styling as the car features red accents, N Line badges, a sporty grille and twin-tip exhausts which gives it a bold and dynamic appearance. From the inside, you get a premium cabin with N-branded leatherette seats, red ambient lighting and modern conveniences such as a smart electric sunroof, wireless phone charging and a cooled glove box.
Tech and Safety
The i20 N Line is big on technology and safety as its higher variants come with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7-speaker Bose sound system and Hyundai’s BlueLink connected car tech which offers features like remote start, smartwatch integration and over-the-air updates.
Safety-wise, it comes loaded with six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM) and Hill-Start Assist (HAC), along with ISOFIX mounts for child seats and a tire pressure monitoring system.
Practicality
Despite its sporty design, the i20 N Line remains practical as it comfortably seats five people and offers 311 liters of boot space and has a 37-liter fuel tank.
