Mini fans, mark your calendars as the Mini Countryman John Cooper Works (JCW) is all set to launch in India on October 14, and it is bringing serious power to rev on Indian roads. This will be the only petrol-powered version of the new Countryman sold in India, after Mini earlier introduced the Countryman Electric JCW Pack in June 2025.
So, what makes this special is that the JCW packs a 2.0L turbo-petrol engine that delivers 296 bhp and 400Nm of torque, which is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox and an all-wheel-drive system. Looking at the translation, it can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds, which is actually faster than many sports cars!
On the outside, JCW delivers the performance with a sporty body kit, red brake calipers,
a chequered-flag grille, quad exhaust pipes, and a roof spoiler.

Looking at the interiors we can expect to get a stylish cabin with red accents, contrast stitching, metal pedals, ambient lighting, and special JCW graphics on the infotainment screen. Though Mini hasn’t confirmed if it will be a limited-edition model or not, the expected price tag is of around Rs 68 lakh (ex-showroom).
