The Honda Activa 125 has long been one of India’s favorite scooters as it is known for its smooth performance, reliability and comfort. For 2025, Honda has made it even more advanced by adding smart features,
a connected digital console and a modern design that appeals to both young and mature riders.

Variants
The 2025 Activa 125 is available in two variants - DLX and H-Smart. The DLX variant offers classic Activa comfort and practicality, while the H-Smart variant takes it a step further with advanced connectivity and convenience for tech-savvy riders.
Technology
The biggest highlight of the new model is the Smart Key with H-Smart technology. This system allows riders to lock, unlock and start the scooter without using a physical key. It even includes an anti-theft system and a feature to locate your scooter in a parking lot or rush prone areas. Another key upgrade is Honda RoadSync, which connects your smartphone to the Activa 125 via Bluetooth. This allows you to view call alerts, SMS notifications and other information directly on the scooter’s display.
Engine and Mileage
Under the seat, the Activa 125 is equipped with a 123.92cc, 4-stroke SI engine that produces 8.3 bhp at 6,500 rpm and 10.5 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. This engine is designed for smooth city performance and daily commutes with great fuel efficiency, which is around 48 kmpl, due to the idling stop-start system, which automatically turns off the engine when idle to save fuel.
Comfort and Practicality
In terms of comfort and practicality, the scooter includes LED headlights, 18 liters of under-seat storage, a USB charging port and front storage space for small items. The seat height of 765 mm, which ensures that even shorter riders can comfortably plant their feet on the ground and the 107 kg kerb weight makes it easy to handle the scooter in traffic.
In terms of safety, the Activa 125 comes with Automatic Headlight On (AHO), side-stand alarm and hazard lights for better visibility. Braking duties are handled by a 190 mm front disc and 130 mm rear drum.
Colours
The scooter is available in six colors - Pearl Deep Ground Gray, Matt Axis Gray Metallic, Rebel Red Metallic, Pearl Precious White, Pearl Igneous Black, and Pearl Siren Blue.
