Hero MotoCorp Sales: Dispatch Breakdown And Quarterly Context
The September tally comprised more than 6.26 lakh motorcycles and 61,003 scooters, while exports reached 39,638 units—nearly double last year’s volume. Hero MotoCorp also reports the highest-ever quarterly dispatches to global markets, with Q2 FY26 global dispatches at approximately 1.12 lakh units. On a year-to-date basis, the company says it recorded an 11.3% growth through Q2 FY26 versus the prior year.
Hero MotoCorp Sales: VIDA EV Momentum
This growth is greatly aided by the sales of electric models. VIDA, Hero’s electric arm, recorded 12,736 VAHAN registrations for September owing to a strong order book for the VIDA VX2 EVOOTER which has more demand than supply in several markets. Market share for VIDA jumped sharply from 4.7% to 12.2%, reflecting how fast consumers have taken up the latest offerings from the brand.
Product Mix and Global Push
Hero MotoCorp credits its broad-based growth to a widened portfolio with 12 new or refreshed products, since the last festive season. Showroom footfalls have more than doubled as against the festive period seen last year. Company relates this trend to GST changes as well as retail demand picking up. Besides, exports have shown very good momentum; in fact, September exports were up nearly 95% year-on-year.

What This Means Going Forward
Here’s the main thing: data shows both strong volume and a shift in market mix. The high-volume commuter part mainly led by models such as the Splendor family added much to this growth. In the meantime, VIDA’s electric vehicles (EVs) pushed forward the electrification story. If Hero keeps up supply for VIDA and keeps bringing new models, it can turn festive demand into steady growth.
