The Range Rover Sport SV has been launched in India at an ex-showroom starting price of Rs 2.05 crore. It is a base, and more affordable variant of the Range Rover Sport SV's high-performance range, which costs about Rs 30 lakh less than the top-spec Range Rover Sport SV Edition Two, which retails for Rs 2.35 crore (ex-showroom). It joins the locally assembled Range Rover Sport Autobiography (Rs 1.60 crore), and the fully imported Range Rover Sport SV Edition Two (Rs 2.35 crore), and offers a more accessible entry to interested customers to the Range Rover Sport range in India. The most recent launch comes after JLR India slashed prices of the Range Rover SV and Range Rover Sport SV ahead of the proposed India-UK Free Trade Agreement. Read on to know
key features of the newly-launched base Range Rover Sport SV.
Range Rover Sport SV Exterior and Interior
While the design is true to the standard Sport's strong visual appeal, the Range Rover Sport SV stands out with performance-driven design changes. The robust profile with flush lines and a performance-inspired fascia adds to the commanding road presence. As for the base variant, Land Rover has introduced five exclusive paint finishes, which includes Gloss Teal, Matte Violet, Gloss Blue, Green Satin, Matte Violet and Matte Orange. These shades are contrasted with a black roof that further enhances the sporty intent. The SUV rides on 22-inch forged alloy wheels, which are also exclusive to the India-spec model.
The India-spec version is dressed in perforated Windsor leather in a Light Cloud and Ebony cabin theme. It comes equipped with a sliding panoramic sunroof, Meridian Signature audio system, and illuminated door sills with 'SV' badge. An extended leather package is also available.

Range Rover Sport SV Powertrain
The SUV draws its power from a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine mated to a mild-hybrid system. The power output stands at 635hp and 750Nm. The 0 to 100km/h acceleration time is 3.8 seconds, while the top speed stands at 290km/h. The Range Rover Sport SV uses 6D Dynamics suspension system, which employs hydraulically linked dampers to actively manage pitch and body roll during hard cornering, acceleration, and braking.
