Nissan India has recently confirmed that the carmaker is on track for its 2026 resurgence strategy, which includes the introduction of three all-new SUVs. These new models will include an economy 7-seater
MPV, a mid-sized C-SUV and a larger 7-seater SUV that has many Nissan fans in India excited. While the teaser visuals of the smaller SUVs have been revealed, Nissan had been keeping details on the new 7-seater under wraps until recently. Here's what to expect from the carmaker's upcoming 'three-row' SUV.

While Nissan India has revealed teaser images, names and launch timelines for the Gravite B-MPV and the Tekton C-SUV, the strategy lineup also has a C-SUV 7-seater displayed on the strategy board of Nissan. While many fans are speculating that it could be the iconic Patrol SUV, here are some clear indications of why that would not be the case.
First of all, Nissan's own strategy board says that the bigger 7-seater will be a C-SUV, which means that it would belong to the C-segment and would have dimensions that are closer to those of a Hyundai Alcazar 7-seater. The Nissan Patrol on the other hand, is a full-sized D-segment offering. Sticking to the C-SUV category, one could easily conclude that the larger 7-seater would most likely be an extended version of the Tekton mid-sized SUV and while it seems probable, Nissan India claims otherwise.
At the recently held media announcement, Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, had assured that while the upcoming 7-seater would be a C-segment offering, it would not be identical to, or a stretched-out version of, the Tekton 5-seater. He also confirmed that Nissan will officially unveil the bigger SUV in the second half of the Financial Year (FY) 2026.
Meanwhile, the carmaker has confirmed the launch timeline for the other two SUVs. While the Gravite B-MPV is the second SUV in the planned lineup, it will be the first to launch in India. Prices and technical details will be unveiled in January 2026 and deliveries are planned to start in March 2026. Meanwhile, the Tekton SUV launch is being planned for February 2026 with a delivery timeline yet to be announced.
