When a new SUV is launched in India, the numbers tell the story quickly and that’s exactly what has happened with the Maruti Suzuki Victoris. Launched in September 2025, the SUV has already crossed 50,000
units in sales in less than five months, which is a rare milestone in such a short time.
In January 2026 alone, 15,240 Victoris got delivered and this helped Maruti Suzuki India post 2,25,549 passenger vehicle sales for the month, up 12.38% year-on-year. Domestic sales stood at 1,74,529 units, with 51,020 units exported. And even more, the average monthly volumes in the mid-size SUV space nearly doubled to 21,155 units between October and January, compared to 10,329 earlier. The Victoris is clearly expanding the segment and not just competing in it.The Victoris starts at a price of Rs 10 49 900 (ex-showroom) and shares its base with the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, but there is a twist, as while the Grand Vitara is sold through Nexa, the Victoris is retailed via the wider Arena network. For buyers in smaller towns and cities, that means easier access, more test drives and quicker deliveries.

Victoris measures 4,360 mm in length with a 2,600 mm wheelbase, the Victoris sits right in the place for Indian families wanting space without moving to a large SUV. LED headlamps, connected LED tail-lamps, roof rails, and 17-inch alloys give it modern road presence. An optional Raffin Package adds extra cosmetic flair.
Inside, the cabin feels premium with a dual-tone black and ivory theme and a panoramic sunroof. You get a 10.25-inch digital cluster, 10.01-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Infinity 8-speaker audio, ventilated seats, powered driver seat, wireless charger with cooling, ambient lighting, and a powered tailgate. The Suzuki Connect suite brings over 60 connected features, including emergency eCall.
