TVS Motor Company will officially unveil its long-awaited adventure motorcycle, the RTX 300, in India tomorrow. This launch marks the brand’s entry into the 300cc adventure motorcycle categoryone, of the fastest-growing segments in the country. The RTX 300 first caught attention earlier this year when it appeared in prototype form at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo, offering a clear glimpse of what was to come.
The production version will be powered by TVS’s newly developed 299cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, called the RTX D4. First showcased at the MotoSoul event, this unit is tuned to produce around 35 hp and 28.5 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and is expected to feature a slipper clutch for smoother
gear shifts.

In terms of design, the motorcycle follows a classic ADV stance with a tall windscreen, sharp front fairing, and a beak-style fender. The rear gets a slim tail section and a split-seat layout. Overall, the styling suggests a machine designed equally for long highway stretches and light off-road routes.
The RTX 300 is built around a steel trellis frame with suspension duties handled by an upside-down front fork and a rear monoshock. This setup should provide long travel and absorb uneven surfaces effectively. The bike will use a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel combination wrapped in dual-purpose tyres, ensuring a mix of grip and agility. Braking will be managed by petal-type discs at both ends with a dual-channel ABS setup as standard.

Feature highlights are expected to include a full-colour TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, and smartphone pairing. TVS is also likely to offer multiple riding modes, traction control, and possibly switchable ABS for added control on varied terrains. TVS is likely to price the RTX 300 between Rs 2.6 lakh and Rs 2.8 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it aggressively against rivals such as the KTM 250 Adventure and Yezdi Adventure.
